I can't really give a review on the product itself since I can't order these towels as a customer from Canada. There are hardly any shipping choices available for us Canadians. Anact sticks to UPS for shipping, and we all know they tend to hit you with those extra 'processing fees' when your package goes through CBSA. When I'm already shelling out a big shipping fee, I sure as heck ain't giving UPS more cash to get my stuff through customs. I've ordered from other small U.S. companies that used USPS/Canada Post and Purolator, and I didn't face any extra charges from them.

When I raised my issues with Anact, they suggested I try ordering through Amazon Prime. I was taken aback! Considering the values and mission of this company, they’re opting to sell their products on Amazon? That feels pretty hypocritical and contradicts everything Anact stands for. Amazon is contributing to environmental destruction and has a bad reputation for how they treat their workers. Teaming up with Amazon to sell your goods really goes against the core values of Anact. PLEASE do better!!

I made my purchase more than a month back and I'm still hanging tight for my order. I've reached out to customer support a couple of times for an update, but I've heard nothing back. Honestly, I'd give it zero stars if I could, not even one. Save your cash and steer clear of this website!

The support team here is super quick to respond, which is a big deal for me. The item I received is top-notch, just like they said it would be. As I get more conscious about the values of the businesses I choose to buy from, I pay attention to the line between greenwashing and genuine eco-friendly efforts. I really value the openness of Anact.

We’re really into our new Anact towels made from hemp. They’re super absorbent, light, and quite attractive. The natural hue is great, and I appreciate the convenient little ‘hook’ for hanging. But what I really dig is that they’re a step towards helping the planet by utilizing hemp. I’d suggest them to anyone!

We also picked up some hand towels and a washcloth. All the items are top-notch. There was a bit of lint on the towels at first, but that disappeared after a couple of washes before we used them. We’re all about our eco towels!

Being made of half hemp means it’s gonna last a while. It’s not super thick, but it’s crafted well, gets the job done, and gives a nice buff. - Buffs me, to be honest. Plus, I dig its appearance and texture.

I really appreciate businesses that aim to improve. Utilizing hemp and organic cotton, even if it's sourced from China, is a way better choice for our planet! If only Canada and the U.S. would jump on the hemp bandwagon! This is definitely a move towards progress. Cultivating and producing in North America would be fantastic! Let's shrink that carbon footprint 😊

Man, these towels are seriously the best! My wife spotted them on Deals & Steals, and we jumped on that half-off deal to grab three sets. After we started using them, we knew we had to get more, 'cause we ain't going back to anything else! Now, the old ones? They're just for the dog.

These towels are really nice, but I got hit with a $61 charge online for import fees from UPS, and then another $66 when I went to grab them. Just a heads up before you buy, I had no clue there would be import costs, especially not a whopping $120.

I've got a bunch of hemp towels, and these rank among the top ones I’ve got that mix hemp with organic cotton. Been using 'em for about five months now, and they’re still just as soft and absorbent as when I first got 'em. No shedding or tiny fibers sticking to my skin, either. I’ve even bought more to give as gifts, and everyone’s been raving about them. I really back small businesses and appreciate awesome customer service. Hey folks - let me break down my 4-star review. With two decades in the clothing and textile biz, I’m not just talking out of my hat. ;) I really dig the towels, but the mess they made after the first wash was a whole different story. I tossed them in with some other laundry to fill the load, and the amount of lint that ended up on everything was just awful! I had to grab a lint roller and spend ages getting it off each piece. I figured if they went through a wash cycle first, like jeans and other fabrics do, it might help, but I get that could bump up the price. If that’s not an option, at least slap a big warning on the package!
